Designing Modular Displays: The Ins And The Outs
When designing a Trade Show Display one must take all of it’s elements into account. All to often we see banner stands, literature racks, table throws etc relegated to the status of “throw aways” in the pecking order of the trade show booth. More often than not these are the very objects which make for a finished and complete look to a trade show exhibit. The human eye will process anything it takes in and in addition to the obvious which registers with the viewer the complete picture is absorbed often on a subliminal level in that viewers mind.
Trade Show Podiums
When dealing with a Pop Up system Print a graphic to be put on the front of your podium for that complete look. Some pop up systems come with a case to counter conversion kit, often as part of the package where the shipping case itself converts to the greeter or presenters space. Take advantage of the marketing space offered by that podium.
Banner stands can also effectively be used to focus the attendees attention on “The Message.” The most common types of banner stands are: retractable, tension, and pole mounted which prove to be effective depending on your own personal tastes and opinions as to what will work best for your audience. Depending on the size of your trade show booth and orientation of set up it is important that the proper size banner stand is used in terms of it’s size and it’s foot print. By using double sided banner stands where appropriate you can also double your marketing space while using the same amount of foot print. Take advantage of every square inch of usable marketing space available to you.
Table throws are historically often neglected. All too often exhibitors regard a table to be nothing more that something to be covered with a table cloth. Nothing can be further from the truth when you think of a trade show booth. A table throw can make for a finished and polished look which will add to what ever sits on that table. There is a reason why diamonds are displayed against a plush or attractive background. Think of the table throw as a way of displaying your company logo, a message, and a color scheme to enhance your ten by ten space. If the table throw occupies space you can again utilize that space to market your product or service.
Trade Show Booths
Take advantage of every square inch of your trade show booth to balance out the message you are presenting to the attendee.
Good luck
